Descendants of 'Forte1680's' have formed a philanthropic organization called "Forte Families 2008 Foundation B'dos".
We share the sentiments of Alex Haley,'Author of Roots',
"In all of us there is a hunger,marrow deep,to know our heritage
to know who we are and and where we came from. Without this
eriching knowledge,there is a hollow yearning.
No matter what our attainments in life,there is still a vacuum,
an emptiness and the most disquieting loneliness."
Through our research,started 2008 we have been able to bring 'Forte'
families from every parish in B'dos together socially.Teaching them facts
about their ancestors which they had not known.They were also able to add
some facts on their individual families.
